US HOUSE REPRESENTATIVE, District 7 | Elected in 2018, Susan Wild is the first Democrat to hold office as a Representative for Lehigh Valley in a long time, following in Charlie Dent’s footsteps. An indefatigable hard worker, she has signed on to many progressive bills in the U.S. House, including expanding early voting, lowering prescription drug prices, raising the minimum wage to $15 by 2024. PA TREASURER | Presently Treasurer of Pennsylvania, Joe Torsella handles billions of dollars in investments, including the 529 College Savings program. He also has sued big banks on behalf of Pennsylvania taxpayers, claiming that they fixed Fannie and Freddie bond prices the Commonwealth bought. Additionally, he began the Keystone Scholars program, which grants every child born or adopted within Pennsylvania a starter $100 deposit into a 529 Plan for college.
